Happy New Year and a great year of birding to all.
I do not do a good job of recording and submitting daily counts at my home
feeders (Aha...a great resolution possibility!). But I realize that my
daily visitors are WAY down. Chickadees, downy, and hairy woodpeckers
still visit as well as an occasional nuthatch. But where are the titmice,
the cardinals, juncoes, blue jays and mourning doves? While I worried
about being eaten out of house and home a few weeks ago, I am now emptying
unused feed to wash my feeders.
Have others seen the same disappearance? Will the birds return when the
snow does?
Thanks for responses and offline is fine if this is not of interest to all.
