Just finished a great walk with gang at the Catamount Family Center now Williston Community Forest. Drove by the Deerfield Cemetery just around the corner on N. Williston Road and yes, the Eastern Meadowlark is still singing from the center of field on small 3ft. shrub. Question - Does the male stop singing when he has a mate or continue to protect his field? I have seen no evidence of another lark. Linda McElvany - Williston
