So glad to read this, Terri! I’ve not seen any Monarchs here in Saxtons River yet, and have been worried that perhaps the lousy (cold) spring followed almost immediately by this heat wave and drought may have caused problems for them. I have tons of milkweed, but much of it is about 1/2 the height it usually is at this point… the ground is just so dry, it’s not growing well, and many lower leaves have already turned yellow. I guess we’ll see what the summer brings… 🤞🏽 🦋
