Hi all,
Looking for some of the collective's wisdom. Working remotely has advantages, but my cats are worthless on this topic. Besides, they're not permitted in my workspace.
I am looking at alert services for journal issues. Yes, I know that most journals have these, I hear it gets annoying for people to keep track of what comes from where, and what to do when they have a problem. I was hoping that there's some piece of software (not RSS) that would allow folks to manage alerts for new journal issues/tables of contents. I know about JournalTOCs, but they've recently lowered the number of free alerts you can set up to 15. I also know about Current Contents in Web of Science. CiteULike is no more. I seem to recall there was one I used many moons ago - perhaps from CARL?
Any others you know about?
Thanks, and I'll summarize for the list if I get any responses!
Best,
Madeleine M. Taylor, MLS, MA
