Hi!

I just returned from attending the second Consumer health Informatics
conference. It was basically, I understand, a condensed version of what
was being offered last year. Because of my job I found it to be a
fascinating workshop. I am not sure however, that the material would be
useful in the public library as most of the stuff presented would be more
useful in the managed care or hospital setting. As soon as I get my box
of stuff that I had shipped to me I will be ordering the book (this years
attendees will receive a discount). I would be happy to share the book
with any one that is interested.

If you would like more detail on what was covered at last years
conference you might want to contact Peg Allen at [log in to unmask] She
attended the conference last year as well as this year.

Hope this helps.
