For those of you on Medlib-l who are also a member of the Special
Libraries Association, I have a question for you.
 
It has been brought to my attention that the Law librarians have
formed a "section" for law librarians in SLA.  Those of us who
serve in the Medical field and also are SLA members do not have
a "section" for medical librarians.  Pharmaceutical and Biological
Sciences are the closest ones to our "area of service".
 
Therefore, I wish to ask, if SLA members would be interested in
creating a "section" for Medical Librarians in SLA.  It would
not be difficult to set up.  Right now I would need to know
how many folks would be interested in having a "Medical" section
in SLA.  I have at least two names passed on to me from a friend
who attended the national meeting.  I thought this would be a
good place to find out who else is interested.
