>Hi Everybody,
first of all I want to thank Andrea Lini for his really great idea to
organize this isogeochem-list. I know him from Zuerich since 4 years and
it was a very good time in the isotope lab. I am PhD-student at the
ETH-Zuerich bei Prof. Helmut Weissert and I try to finish my thesis end of
september 95. I work with soft sediments on Malta (Central Mediterranean)
from the Middle Miocene. My work includes three parts: biostratigraphy,
sedimentology and isotope-geochemistry. I measured carbon and oxygen
isotopes on planktic, benthic foraminifera and bulk sediment. The obtained
curves can be correlated with the globally recognized positiv carbon
isotope excursion called "Monterey Event". I would appreciate to get some
input and to exchange some experience with other workers in the same topic.
Ciao Everybody
Liza
