Ed and Rick et al.,
   Sure you can think it's great to be here at UVM, and even I maybe 
would like to see some "accentuation on the positive," but there are some 
things to consider.
	There are some folks in this community who definitely do not feel 
"great" living, working and learning here at UVM.  Even if you don't 
think you are part of the "problem," it would make sense to demonstrate 
that you are part of the solution.  I would ask you and everyone out 
there to come to show your solidarity and support for the _better_ place 
we would like this to be, no matter how "great" you yourself feel it to 
be already.  See you there!
