Thank you for finally addressing an issue that I feel needed to be 
brought forward here at this University!  No one should be afraid to 
discuss issues about race and the history of this country with race and the 
school itself.  The people who continually attack and confront a person 
for their opinion on the basis, "That because you are white, and you were 
brought up in a country with a history of abuse along racial lines, means 
you can not participate in the debate due to your skin being white." is 
very wrong.

We are all responsible for our own actions.  Leadership in this area has 
to be positive and lead by example.  We need to come together on this 
issue, and not divide up into little groups that dictate and preach 
how things ought to be in this country and on this CAMPUS!!!

We can never forget our past, but can not progress forward if we 
continually relive and use the past as our day-to-day weapon against 
racism.  These are the tools for people to divide us in our opinions, and 
create the barrier of getting the job done.

As I have stated earlier on this issue with others on this net, people 
who use the past as a weapon to shut other people out of the debate are 
doing a great disservice for the movement as a whole!

Every person and opinion should help bring the education of this issue to 
the fore-front of the debate.  This is where we will learn the truth and 
take away the power of the manipulators of the world on this issue!
