What are the end diastolic velocities that you use for determining severity?
>From all of the literature that I have read, velocities for measuring diameter
reduction only apply to velocity increases detected within the first 5 mm of the
ICA.
I have four different charts on the bulletin board in our lab for the estimation
of diameter reduction and they all vary (don't panic, we only go by one). I
still think frequency is more accurate than velocity (another can of worms!).
I'm interested in what other Flownetters use for their criteria.
