Name: Maria da Assuncao Araujo
Portuguese, PhD at Porto University (Geography Department).
Main interests: Littoral Geomorphology, Quaternary, sedimentology, neotectonics

I am very much interested in the identification of neotectonic movements
disturbing sea cut plattforms. My study area follows an important active
fault and the marine platforms are probably upset. The problem is how to
date the surfaces and some deposits lying upon them (generally they have no
organic material).
This technique is not very much developed in Portugal, so if any of you
wants to come here to test your know how (and give me some help ;-), you
are very much wellcome!
