The National College of Chiropractic, located near Chicago, Illinois,
invites applications for a technical services librarian. The College is a
five academic year, private, professional college with an enrollment of
approximately 850 students. It is accredited by the Council on
Chiropractic Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and
Schools. The successful applicant will supervise technical services
support staff, catalog all LRC materials, and assist with LRC planning,
reference, collection development, and instruction. Requires an ALA
accredited MLS; minimum 1 year professional experience, excellent
communication skills. Prefer supervisory experience, cataloging all
formats, OCLC, academic or health science library background, experience
with IBM-compatible microcomputers and manual and online library systems.
