Some time ago, I suggested we tabulate sources of replacement parts
for mass spec repairs. I initially received a number of responses, and have
been tabulating info from the communiques among us. I will continue to do
this, but would like to disseminate the small list I have already put
together. Any additions or corrections would be appreciated.

The following is a tabulation of responses to my usergroup query on
third party vendors of parts for Finnigan MAT and VG/Fisons IRMS systems.
The order is not indicative of choice or recommendation. Rather it reflects

Replacements for MAT 251 208v and 24v solenoid valves

We replaced our Kuhnke solenoid valves by Buerkert valves. However
there are two different types: The substitute for valves 11 and all valves
with ending "Z" (e.g. 6Z, 13Z) is 300-D-01,2-B-M5-E-000 220V 50(60)Hz.The
substitute for valves 12 and all valves with ending "A" (e.g. 6A, 13A) is
300-C-01,2-B-M5-E-000 220V 50(60)Hz.The mounting holes are different!The
