Chris and other interested
Putting an extraction line next onto the EA is fairly simple. A
good article describing this is that of:

Mucciarone D.A., Dunbar R.B.; Research Methods Papers, 1992???
pp 731-733

Unfortunatly the photocopied pages do not have the full name or
time of the publication. I hope this is of some help. The authors
are from Rice U., Dept of Geology & Geophysics, Houston, Texas.
The line we have is similar to theirs except for the choice of
valves. We use the Nupro SS-4BKT, they are bellows toggle valves
that can be manually or remotly actuated.

Gilles and the rest of the group,

I am interested in the off-line prep method for collecting 13C effluents from
both a CHN analyzer and a Shimadzu TOC-5000. Could you suggest papers
describing the methods?

Thanks,

Chris
