Dear Isogeochemists,

Who could share with me some of his/her experience in measuring del(13)C of
HCO3- in CO2-rich mineral waters? I suppose, that by degassing the water
sample prior to precipitate the HCO3-, the shift in the equilibrium between
CO2 and HCO3- will produce a shift in the isotopic equilibrium too.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestion on procedure or on relevant papers.

Zsolt
