Hello
We have a Synrad 10 watt CO2 laser housed in
a VS laser control bench with a 63.4mm zinc
selenite lens. We fitted a beam combiner
before the lens so we could attach a video
camera. Unfortunately the view is very poor
and due the optics of the lens we are unable to
focus the laser beam when the sample is in
focus. We would like to set up a binocular
microscope with a video camera so that we may
view the sample at the same time we use the
laser. As we would not be able to use the
microscope optics to focus the beam, we will
also need a mirror below the microscope to
bend the beam towards the sample.
Has any one got any suggestions? I am
looking for something economical.
Also does anyone know of an economical
motorised X-Y stage?
Many thanks, in advance, for your help.
Regards,
Carolyn Chenery
