On Tuesday, April 15 (today), University of Vermont President
Thomas Salmon and the Historic Preservation Program, cosponsored
by the Center for Research on Vermont, invite you to attend a
lecture, "Historic Preservation: A Proven Strategy to Address
Issues that Face U.S. Society," by H. Nicholas Muller, III,
President, Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The free, public talk
takes place at 7:30 P.M. in Memorial Lounge on the main floor of
the Waterman Building at UVM.
On Wednesday, April 16, the Center for Research on Vermont is
sponsoring Research-in-Progress Seminar #120, "Eking Out the
Earnings: Women and Industrialization in a Rural Vermont
Community," by Elizabeth Dow of Special Collections, UVM. This
seminar, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled to
begin at 7:30 P.M., in Memorial Lounge on the main floor of the
Waterman Building at UVM.
