Giraffe and the Banner Student Information System will be unavailable for about an hour this evening,
Friday, Nov. 7, 1997
from 5pm to 6pm
while the giraffe host is being rebooted.
This will affect all forms of access to the student information system:
 Web access for course info, class lists, schedules,
This includes everything on the Registrar's web pages,
found by going to the UVM home page and choosing
"Courses, Registration, Policies, Procedures", then
"Office of the Registrar"; or by going to:
 Telnet or dial-in to giraffe for Banner SIS
Touch-tone registration and Web course registration are not active at this
time in the semester.

656-2604. As usual, once Banner SIS is again available, usage and PIN
questions should be directed to the Registrar's Office,
