A word of thanks to Kathy Callum and to others who have had positive
comments about crvnet. We are pleased to sponsor this forum for
discussion, and we always welcome new postings of interest to Vermont
researchers. I think we are all learning how best to use this new
medium. To a very great extent, crvnet is what *we* make it.
Ms. Callum's query about who subscribes to crvnet gives me the
opportunity to remind everyone about some of the commands that
subscribers can use to access information about the list.
Important note: All of the following commands should be directed to:
<[log in to unmask]>
To see who is on the list: review crvnet
To join the list: sub crvnet
To leave the list: signoff crvnet
To stop mail from the
list temporarily: set crvnet nomail
To start mail again
when you return: set crvnet mail
To see your settings: query crvnet
To get help: help
To see the archive
To get an archive file: get crvnet log9703
Since crvnet is a public list, we have a public archives, as well.
This can be accessed on the Web at:
To answer part of Ms. Callum's query: There are currently 37
subscribers to crvnet. Of these, 17 are members of the Center.
The largest geographic grouping is, of course, Vermonters. Other
states represented in the list are: Massachusetts, New York, and
Alaska. To find out who subscribes to the list at any time, send an
email message to <[log in to unmask]> with the "review crvnet"
command in the message area.
