Subject: Furniture Market 9 Free!!
In October, 9 EarthCulture activists staged a die-in, blocking the entrance
to the world's biggest Furniture Market in High Point, NC. The nine were
protesting the use of rainforest woods like mahogany, teak, and lauan in
furniture and held a 12 foot banner reading "Buying Rainforest Wood Kills
Native Peoples." All were arrested with 2nd degree trespass.
Today, the protesters went to court and the case was dismissed after the
prosecution made their case because there was not enough evidence to
