Susan,
IM,MED,EM are not US library symbols. As far as I know, this very useful
and important information (library holdings) has been removed from
Serline records.
IM = Index Medicus, MED = MEDLINE, EM= Excerpta Medica
and it means that the title is indexed for the above bibliographic
sources.
