Hi all!

SQL is the abbreviation for Structured Query Language. This is the
American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard language for
operating upon relational databases. The language contains a large set
of operators for partitioning and combining relations. Although SQL was
intended to be a standard, there are many variations. Microsoft
incorporates a nonstandard variant of SQL into their products, but they
are not the original developer of the language.
