Dear Medical Librarians,

I am a graduate student in the School of Information and Library Science
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am also a
graduate assistant in the reference department at the Health Sciences
Library at UNC. The Library is planning to combine their reference and
circulation desks into one central service point. For my Master's
Paper, I am studying medical libraries that have made the same
transition.

It would be an enormous help to me to learn of your library, if you have
experimented with this reference model, or know of a library that has
done so. Even if you are only interested in the topic, I'd like to hear
from you! I know of several libraries so far, but would like to look at
as many as I can.

Please respond to this address if you can help me in any way:

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Betsy Dain
