we are trying to verify the exact quotation and get a source for the
following: Michael Faraday (1797-1867) was a well known scientist in
chemistry and physics and is probably best known for his work on
electromagnetic induction. My patron believes that there is a quote
contributed to him that goes something like " What good's a newborn baby?"
This quote was his response to some criticism regarding the importance
(or lack thereof) of one of his discoveries. If any of you have books in
your collection about Michael Faraday if you wouldn't mind looking in
them to see if you can find this quote, I would be most appreciative (and
so would my patron!)
Have a great weekend!
