Conservation Biology Fans!
This week The UVM Conservation Biology Discussion Group will
feature a presentation on "Lake Trout Restoration in the Great Lakes"
by Ellen Marsden. Lake trout were extirpated from the lower four Great
Lakes and Lake champlain by the 1950's. Restoration of lake trout has been
essentially accomplished in Lake Superior. Can it be successful in other
lakes? And should this be a management goal? Ellen Marsden is a fisheries
biologist and faculty member in the UVM School of Natural Resources whose
research focuses on the Great lakes and exotic species.
Date: Wednesday, April 1st (No fooling!)
        Time: 12:15-1:15PM
        Place: 105 Aiken Building
Everyone is welcome. Please join us and bring your lunch!
