My issue with VPIRG is the fact that they don't hold "events". Their main cause is getting people to sign petitions, which is hardly a challenge at UVM. Also I don't think that we can deny funding to a club, that is why I don't support recognizing them at all. The issue of them not being recognized by the state and national level isn't true. All of the different state PIRG's act the same way, and in the same matter. I belief it is naive to think that our UVM PIRG will be different. I hope other will get in on this discussion.
