    College Democrats, and the Student Government Association Senate, and
    all other concerned parties.

        The following is information regarding the date, time,
place, topic, and format of the debate:

DATE:           07 APR 98
TIME:           8:30 p.m.
DEBATORS:       Gierzynski (for) and Gause (against)
MODERATOR:      Kingstone
TOPIC:          Resolved: The private life (actions) and personal morals
                          of the President of the United States have
                          little or no bearing on his/her public
                          leadership.

FORMAT:         A               B
                3 min open      5 min open and rebuttal
                2 min rebuttal
                OPEN TIME FOR MODERATORS QUESTIONS
                30 min. Open questions from the audience

                3 min closing

        **Sides A and B will be determined by the flip of a coin at the
          beginning of the debate.

        Any questions, coments,vconcerns or ideas regarding any part of the
proposed debate, are more than welcome, and we thank you in advance for
helping us inform the UVM community of important political issues.

        Any poster ideas you may have and any posters that you and the
College Democrats want to put up will be appreciated. Of course, comments,
questions, etc. will also be appreciated.
        As we move forward to finalizing this debate, I invite you to our
C.R. meetings, so we can have more of a unified effort.

To all other concerned parties:
        As usual, comments and questions are appreciated. I hope you will
attend this event which we (CRs and CDs) have put together in order to
make the UVM campus more politically informed.
