You don't say what your problem are. The most recent version of the
PRISM software is V4.43ß, which Micromass should be able to supply you
with. It is also possible to run the very recent OS/2 software by
using a package called PRISM-UP, which allows the old System
Controller hardware to talk to the new software via an interpreter PC.
We've been using this for couple of years on our Isochrom-II, which
is essentially the same System Controller as the PRISM II, and it's
really stable and much nicer to use than the old DOS based software.
If your problems with the DOS software are just getting it onto the
computer, let me know exactly what it's doing and I'll try to help.
We've had that software running on 5 different mass specs, including a
PRISM, so I should be able to work out what's failing.
