Cross-posted. Sorry for the duplication!

I am trying to determine if Dr. Bruno Klopfer is (was?) an MD or a PhD.  In 1957, he was the editor of 
_Journal of Projective Techniques_ and was affiliated with UCLA at the time.

My library wasn't in existence in 1957, so we don't have any old directories. I did try to confirm with
UCLA, but their records only go back to 1970.

If anyone can help, I'd be forever grateful.
