Those "blocks" we all keep reading about don't really work all that well
and can, in a medical setting especially, actually prevent logins to
legitimate medical sites which may have gotten indexed in a specific,
block-provoking way.
Having the screens visible to all who pass by acts as a deterrent but
this is not helpful in places where all the computers cannot be as public.
Our solution is simply to "refresh" each computer each day, wiping off
all previous sites, porno or not. It is difficult, if not impossible, to
prevent everyone from visiting inappropriate sites. Sort of a fact of
life we must live with.
