Dear Senators,
I hope that this letter finds you all well. I don't write on email very
often, so forgive me if this turns out to be a little longer than hoped.
As you are all aware of, we have been discussing issues about the senate,
exec, and more specifically me, for the past three and a half weeks. I am
sure that most of you are aware that it has been pretty taxing on me.
However, I am certain that it has been just as taxing for you.
There have been many things said about me, to my face and behind my back,
in reference to my performance and some other issues that I am also certain
has already circulated around the senate. I have openly answered and
discussed these issues to those that wanted to know and those that listened.
To those of you that do not know, I am remaining in the position as
president. The decision I made last Tuesday was extremely hasty, and I feel
was made under a lot of stress and frustration, as I am sure those of you
who were present can understand.
I have stated over and over again that I know I have not performed to my
peak performance, and I assure you that the continuos "kick in the butt" I
have felt for the past three weeks will prove that I do infact realize this.
To those of you that have supported me through this time, I thank you from
the bottom of my heart. For those of you who doubt me and whose faith I
have lost, I can only ask that you forgive me and that we try to move on
from here to do the job we set out to do...represent students!
In conclusion, I can only hope that we move on from here, and remain
intact for a more powerful, influential and motivated spring semester.
Good Luck on Finals,
Binh
