Yes Lowman, you're actually right on this time, you are entitled to
information.  However, the frustration you saw in Melanie's E-mail stems
from the fact that you're taking part in discussion not intended for your
immediate consumption.  Kindly refrain from posting on a list-serve that
you are not supposed to be on.  List-serves are intended to promote the
free exchange of information in a candid manner within an organization or
group of relevant individuals.  Since you are neither a member of the
senate, nor relevant to our discussion of senate events, you have no
appropriate place posting on the list-serve.  Yes, as a student, your
opinion is relevant but you're expressing it in the wrong forum and in so
doing compromising the integrity of this list-serve.
