I hadn't look up the etymology of "venogram" before. Do you realize that
"sonogram" is also of mixed extraction? Sonos is Latin. Chalk one up for
bilingualism.

p.s.: The following bit of trivia is probably of interest only to
language purists. From a grammatical standpoint, the correct term
for a vein contrast study is "phlebogram," not "venogram." Reason?
Phlebogram is derived from Greek based root words, i.e., Gr. phlebos,
vein + Gr. gramma, something written, whereas venogram has both
Latin and Greek origins, L. vena, vein + Gr. gramma, something
written.
