   I believe that i was Frank west who mentioned that we might try using V72.83 (other specified preoperative examination) for vein mapping.

  We have had success with this code.

Fellow Netters,

I know this topic was covered a while back, but I would like to know how
many labs are using 93971 (unilat or limited venous) for lower ( or upper
for that matter) vein mapping. Also, are you routinely getting
reimbursed. I was told by our office manager recently that medicare was
not reimbursing us for our vein mappings. Any input/ suggestions???
