Please tell me why the Town Treasurer should not collect this
tax. We all know that the present law says that this tax will be
collected by the state next year.
I would like to find the pros and cons of this issue from different town
prospectives. There has been some talk of making a change in the law.
Please reply as soon as possible. You all know my position has been to
have the Town Treasurer collect the tax.
