Ok, lemme try to show some sensitivity to my friends Back East, suffering a

Pounded bumps at MJ Saturday.  Mountain was reporting another 6" overnight
(ho hum). Conditions were great.  Not the orgasmic untracked from last
Wednesday, but still lots of snow.  The first chute of the year opened at MJ
(Runaway).  I heard it was awesome when it was lightly tracked, but by the time
I got to it, Runaway had started to get bony.

Pounded some more bumps at MJ on Sunday. Leslie was with me this time, so
the pace was a bit reduced.  Still, she chewed up Outhouse twice, which had
rhythmic, powdery bumps to die for. Oh yeah, it snowed pretty hard all day.
The evening weather broadcast said it's been snowing about an inch an hour
since nightfall and expects to continue till tomorrow morning.  Get out

P.S. She's settled on the Volkl Cross-Rangers after demo-ing several
different skis.  Anyone have any comments on this ski?  The Christy's
Sports out here said they will beat anybody else's price.  Does anyone know
of a place selling them for less than $570?

P.P.S. Planning to meet up with The Doctor (of Blue Square Reports fame)
next Saturday.
