The disaster conference looks very
interesting and helpful.  Why doesnt UVM
do a similar conference in Vermont where
local officials from Vermont would be able to
attend rather than down in North Carolina.

My wife is from Charlotte and I have been
to UNC-Charlotte but I dont remember a
UVM-Charlotte. (g).  Seriously, I recently
spoke with Dr. Ramaley and we discussed ways
UVM specialists could help build capacity
in local governments. This seems like an
excellent opportunity to do that.
