Hello this is Mary Zuber from Hinesburg.
Re the Bianchi law
In our town there is a case right now that
involves the conversion of a summer camp
on the lake to a year round home. The people
converted same about l8 years ago and never
obtained a permit. Now they wanted to refinance
and they cannot. The bank will not loan them
money, since they never obtained a permit, never
received a certificate of compliance and they are
in violation of zoning.
Perhaps it is a good thing that the number of years
be placed at 20. while it is a headache to some
it still insures the private citizen of knowing exactly
what they are getting.
Bye for now
