Hi Paulette,
The only exception to "no choice" whether to record or not is in the
instance when the deed refers to a survey. If the survey is not included
with the deed to be recorded then we are not supposed to record the deed.
That law came into effect (me thinks) about July, 1997.
Curious exception don't you think, considering that we are only "recording
machines"?
