Since I've been C/T, we have had only one request, which never really came
before the board. The taxpayer suggested that she was unable to pay, and I
advised her that she would have to make the case before the BCA.
Basically, I suggested that she present some kind of financial statement,
tax returns, etc. for them to base a decision on. Needless to say, we
never heard another word from that taxpayer, but I imagine it is only a
matter of time before we had more requests of this nature. I'll be
interested to hear how others have dealt with it.
