At all the facilites I have been at, we never actually dispensed medication
in the vascular laboratory.  At several of our hospitals, we would instruct
the referring physician's office about the necessity of a prep and they
would inform the patient.  (pick up neccessary medication over-the-counter
at any pharmacy and take 30 minutes prior appointment).
