I am taking a reference class and we get a question per week-well I'm stuck and
wonder if anyone could help before 1p.m. CST. The supposed quote starts:
Before acceptance comes ridicule and ---------.
Before you run to your regular sources let me tell you I have checked Gales'
Quotations CD-Rom, Bartlett's, Dictionary of Quotations, Respectfully Quoted,
Webster's New World Dictionary, The Home Book fof Quotations, Sayings of the
Century, Oxford Dictionary of Quotes, and Oxford Dictionary of Modern Quotations
to no avail. Even the reference librarian at the public library was stumped.
Probably not a real quote just something to make us do a proper search but I
thought I would try here just in case. Thanks for your help you can reply
directly so as not to clutter the list.
Thanks Colleen Spagnola
