For true paranoia, read "Format:c" by Edwin Black. The extremely thinly
disguised Bill Gates character actually induces a cardiac arrest in a
competitor using a Palm Pilot. Why? Because he wants us ALL TO USE HIS
SYSTEM. That's why.
Seriously, this book is a true chortle from start to finish. Highly
recommended for everybody who's had a bad day with technology. Librarians
or not.
