The prevalence of computers and Internet access in the
nation's schools, according to a report by Education
Week.
The first column is the number of students per
instructional computer, which refers to any computer
used for teaching students. The second column is the
percentage of schools in a given state that provide
Internet access from at least one classroom. For
example, in Alabama, there are 7.0 students per
instructional computer and 53 percent of its schools
provide Internet access from at least one computer.
