The University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill has a vacancy
in the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory for a qualified RVT. Established
in 1973, this was one of the first clinical laboratories in the US. We
have been accredited by the ICAVL since first offered in 1993 and perform
a wide variety of noninvasive vascular procedures. The laboratory
enjoys a hard earned reputation for clinical excellence which we would
like to continue with the help of an additional clinical specialist. The
clinical staff thrives on a balance of independence and accountability
with support from our colleagues, the vascular surgeons. We do take call
which is minimized by our venous algorithm. We enjoy clinical research
and presenting our results in oral and written form.
Chapel Hill is known as the Southern Part of Heaven - and for good
reason. The four seasons, including long falls and springs and a mild
winter, are a bonus. For those who like it hot in the summer - this may
be for you. We have blue skies year round and lots of sunshine. The
hospital offers a tuition re-reimbursement program for those wanting to
further their education at the University.
Their is lots of new blood to balance the old stalwarts. I must admit,
we do enjoy the workplace. If you would like to discuss the position,
please call me or one of my cohorts-.
