UVM's giraffe host and the Banner Student Information System (SIS) will be
unavailable for part of the day this coming Sunday,
Sunday, November 21, 1999
from Midnight to 1:30pm or later
while giraffe is undergoing scheduled hardware maintenance, and later,
while the Financial Aid 3.7 upgrade is applied to Banner SIS.
This will affect all forms of access to the student information system:
 Web and Touch-tone registration for spring.
 Web access for the UVM Course Catalog.
This includes everything found by going to the UVM
home page and choosing "Academics".
 Web access for course info, class lists, schedules,
This includes everything on the Registrar's web pages,
found by going to the UVM home page and choosing
"Offices and Services", then "Registrar's Office";
or by going to:
 Telnet or dial-in to giraffe for Banner SIS or any other
