        Professor Hal Cochran in the English Dept. at UVM just called to say that
Alan Nern (spelling?), a freelance journalist with The Nation will be
coming to UVM in mid to late November to give a talk on East Timor, the
Indonesian army, and Norwich University's involvement with training members
of the Indonesian army therein. Hal would like to know if ACE would be
interested in being a sponsor for the event or to be involved in any other
