Dear list members, I am looking for a post-doctoral position in analytical and environmental chemistry. I am at the present time in last year of Ph.D. at the Environmental and Toxicological Chemistry laboratory at the University of Bordeaux I (France). The aim of my Ph.D., conducted by Dr H. Budzinski, is to study the origin and the fate of hydrocarbons in marine environment using both a molecular (concentration) and an isotopic (stable carbon isotopic composition) approach. I have experience of environmental sample preparation (supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), solid phase micro-extraction (SPME), focused microwave extraction (FMW), high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC)), of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis (GC-MS), of gas chromatography-isotopic ratio mass spectrometry analysis (GC-IRMS), of elemental analyzer-isotopic ratio mass spectrometry analysis. I will be able to start my post-doc at the beginning of the year 2001. For more information don't hesitate to contact me or to consult my curriculum vitae on the web. http://www.lptc.u-bordeaux.fr/pages-perso/laurent/index.htm Thanks in advance. laurent MAZEAS Laboratoire de physico- et toxico-chimie des systemes naturels universite de Bordeaux I 351 cours de la liberation 33405 TALENCE CEDEX tel: 05-56-84-28-66 fax: 05-57-96-22-67
