This postdoctoral position is available immediately for 2 years to
work on the ecology and behaviour of lamprey and their impact on
pollan, an endemic Coregonid fish. The project will involve field work
including research trawls, lab work including stable isotope analysis
and behavioural trials. Candidates must hold or have submitted a PhD
in ecology or fisheries biology and have demonstrated an ability to
publish in international journals. A valid driving licence (or such
other suitable means of private transport to meet the mobility
requirements of the post) and ability to work on boats are essential.

post. It is anticipated that interviews for the position will be held
on 16 August 2005.
