Hello Hilmar,
We have published several datasets on individual precipitation
events from which you can calculate a mean value. These data are from
about 25 miles east of Syracuse NY, but may be of use nonetheless.
Groundwater values are much closer to winter precipitaion values than
the mean value (due to transpiration of summer precip.).The references
are listed below, or you can go to the website at the bottom of this
message and click on publications to download the PDFs.
